Source of Beauty

Ever met someone so full of beauty that it overflows in their words and actions? A beautiful soul we may say. I always wonder where the source of their words flow. Is it out of healed pain? Resiliency? Redemptive faith? Learned responses from a mentor? Or did an older person show them so much love that it carries forward? What gives us the depth required to unconditionally love our friends and bathe them in the affirmations needed for growth? I sit and listen, desiring my words to have impact. Hoping that I exude the compassion and genuine countenance that they possess. They honor others’ lives, choices, contributions and bring a presence into every situation. Feeling deeply, their smile reassures us on the stormy days.

To all my beautiful soul friends. Your words are water in a desert. They are the warm sun in the spring garden. May you all be blessed by the beautiful souls in your circle. Let us slow down and see one another. Grow and become that person for someone else. As iron sharpens iron, good humans grow one another.
